womendesignersgroup.com — You may remember the LinuxChix submission posted on digg and the time has come again; Alas! Another site oriented towards female-only, computer-related community! Read: "We are a group of women web designers. A very high energy mailing list of women web designers."

@mcvarmaziThe internet is more or less anonymous, you don't have to share your gender with other members. Why it is necessary to have such a community is beyond me...

I am a woman but honestly have no need to be a member of any women's only professionals group. They have a good idea in theory but I enjoy socializing with both genders.I can get just as many ideas and feedback from men as women.

Not to get to far off subject but is it just me or does their logo look like a flipped dreamcast logo?

@ mcvarmaziComments get dugg down because the majority disagree, find it offensive or find it irrelevant to the discussion.

Yes...interesting how your post got dug to a minus six though. ;) You are right and the way this entire discussion is going proves the point of the question someone asked in the first place.

Well we wont be joining. Neither my wife or I.We will also judge you and anyone else in your group under the same standards we and any feminist judges mens only groups.Would you judge someone from the KKK if he/she said "Its a matter of choice, and you can choose not to join, unless your a damn N****r!"? Really, would you judge that person or accept peacefully that that person has the free will to do and say anything they want and to join any exclusionary club they want?I seriously doubt you could tell me you wouldn't judge that person and still lay straight in bed at night.

What about groups that anybody can join and contribute/participate?
