to beware001, you've got it back to front|a| = √(a^2)whereas it is correct to say a=(√a)^2in the former, a negative a would become positive after squaring, and then the square root makes it undefined by positive or negativein the latter, a negative a would be converted to an imaginary number, and then squared would return it to its correct negative stateoh my god... what have i become
