latenightpc.com— World of Warcraft is pretty simple to run on Linux these days. Beautiful OpenGL with no comprimises! The linked post talks about how simple it is on Suse 10.1, but others are easy too.

@sinnerNot sure I get the point you're trying to make....World of Warcraft can be played on Linux, they're not saying that it's now made *for* Linux. What you're saying is tantamount to:Me: Hey, I just drank a soda in my car. You: OMFG, they don't make soda for cars n00b!
Oh, so if you dont have SuSE, you need to go download it and install it, then get wine, and install WoW and then you can play. I love how easy linux is too use.
as long as you have the latest version of wine you dont need to edit anything. You can just double click the icon on the dekstop and it will load up fine. If you want better performance you can use opengl by passing the -opengl command in the shortcut (or edit the config file if you want) but thats EXACTLY how you do it in windows also. So no its not less hassle to play it in windows, its exactly the same.
Dear everyone,Stop playing WoW. Period.Dear linux fans,Linux is NOT good for games, get over it, it's good for work, good for servers, good for netbooks, NOT for games.

Any other mainstream games been run successfully on WINE, like EVE-Online or Everquest?

Maybe in another 5-10 years they will make a game avaliable on Linux because it might actually be worth it.
