That's what happens when liberals dominate the Supreme Court. If the court were 100% conservative, you would see a dam-burst of freedoms descend on this country. If you have never done it before, sit down and actually READ the Constitution. The Constitution is a document that states what the federal government CAN do, not what it can't do. Does it mention abortion, drug abuse, speed limits, how much water you can have in your toilet, how much employers should pay their employees? NO! That means that those things are NOT the business of the federal government. According to the Constitution, what is not the business of the federal government is the business of the states or the people. That's what the 10th Amendment is all about. This would be a much freer society if the federal government would just butt out. Wanna do drugs? Live in California. Wanna be a socialist? Live in Vermont. Wanna carry a gun for self-defense? Live in Arizona. Oppose Abortion? Live in some state that agrees with you. Life would be so much simpler and so much freer if the federal government would just butt out of our business.
