wireless.gumph.org— Searching for a way to maximize my wireless signal from my laptop i stumbled across this crazy contraption. A wireless antenna made from a standard ball point pen.

Don't waste your time with this. All the wireless mods I've seen that were promising involved less work and were backed up by frequency and power calculations. Those guys were electronic and radio techs or electrical engineers with facts to backup why their mod worked. Witness the Yagi Pringle's cantenna.
Digg is getting funny if your article is actualy about Tech it gets busted on for its obvious inadiquacy to some other method. I know this method for creating a wireless antenna may not be the best or may not even work but i did find the theory behind the actual creation of such a device very interesting. I posted for technical enjoyment not heated technical debate.

I'd rather use a wok and a wireless dongle
