winhistory.de — A German person puts Windows XP on a 20mhz computer with 32mb of ram, boots from POST to desktop in 7 minutes. Original website is in German and translated into English (hence the weird grammar). Why would anyone do this? I have no idea, but still cool to see this is actually possible!

Does anyone else notice all the fuzz around the letters? I took the photos into photoshop, and saw a lot of fuzz, and the letters wern't centered on it. which makes me believe all the letters were faked. There shouldn't be that much anti-alias around the letters anyway. Even with a computerized screenshot, and not a photograph. Just a thought.

"1. Bulls**t.2. Prove It.3. ?4. Profit"hardran3, I don't have to prove it. If you don't want to believe me that's totally fine, but I'm not lying nor do I have any reason to lie.

Embedded XP terminals can be slow, but the install of XP optimized to fit the need. I remember running hundreds of workstations from 33 to 66 MHz 486s running 98se and Office 2000 with 32 MB of ram for a school district and they were solid workstations. The slowest workstation I installed XP on is an IBM laptop running at 233 MHz and 96MB of ram.
