Does anyone else remember what a step up the XP sounds were from the *horrible* ME sounds? They used to be terribly low quality, loud garbage. XP was just bearably obnoxious. I think Vista sounds will be mildly comfortable, but slightly irritating, a little easy to miss, and slightly pretentious. IMHO, XP sucked far less than any previous version of Windows. If trends continue, Vista might not suck very much at all. We should be so lucky.Getting back to the subject of the Vista sounds, they do suck somewhat less than the XP sounds. This could be construed as a good omen.

I'm curious. Why do you think that it's a bad thing that (in your opinion) Macs are better than Windows PCs? Is it because (again, in your opinion) Macs really suck and it's too bad that Windows sucks even worse, or is it that you were really rooting for Windows and are disappointed that the Macs won the "not sucking" prize?Inquiring minds want to know.
