engadget.com — You have to be seriously freaking into Vista if you're even thinking about the Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Limited Numbered Signature Edition (seriously, we didn't even think Microsoft was capable of a title like that), but at least the price is on target ($259) and they claim it's signed by the man himself, Billy G.

The article is inaccurate for another reason that no one has mentioned so far. Have you noticed that Microsoft never calls the product "Microsoft Windows Vista" anywhere on its site? Digg this up or prove me wrong.

You get those two options with the upgrade version. The thing is though, with an upgrade CD while installing you will be asked for a previous version of Windows CD to verify and then you can continue. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/getready/upgradeinfo.mspxThe upgrade in-place can only be used on some upgrades the rest will need the fresh install.

I would have guessed that a signed version from Bill Gates would be cheaper.

The man is the most dominant business leader in America in the 20th century. Whether you're a Windows fan or not, you should appreciate and respect what he's done for America (on the business front) and the world (on the humanitarian front).

It's fake.http://cgi.ebay.com/Microsoft-Windows-Vista-Ultimate-Signature-Edition-UPG_W0QQitemZ250089836877QQcategoryZ11229QQcmdZViewItemhttp://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/88/22/24/44/0088222444369_500X500.jpghttp://www.geekzone.co.nz/images/blog/DSC_6021.jpgNotice that all of the signatures are the same. I can't believe Microsoft would rip people off like that.
