engadget.com— You've heard about it, you know what it's got, you want it like crazy -- and about 11 months after launch Microsoft delivers on Vista's first service pack (in release candidate form, anyway). Go crazy!

It's supposed to, but it still doesn't do that well. SP1RC1 is ok, but honesty, they still have a LARGE number of bugs to fix before Vista is ready for prime time.
"In short: Leave it off. I've messed with beta software in the past. Since Vista is my primary install, I won't be installing this anytime soon. Final release for me, please."I couldn't of said it any better myself.. I just reinstalled Vista 64 bit and I'm loving it, but I'll be damned if I'm going to install an RC on my primary OS drive.Waiting for Final here too!
Vista SP1 RC is not that bad actually. I have it installed on this machine and it is much more stable than Windows Vista RTM build 6000. Security and speed are relevant additions in this release. Can't wait till the final release though :)

Err, aren't those fixes still not present in RC1?

You are using Kubuntu, probably the OS with more bugs that exists on the face of the planet. Forgive me if I don't take you too seriously.
