VLC doesn't manage Libraries, that's an instant fail.

Wont do any good to have playlists, libraraies and great interface if it cant even play the video.Does not seems to support subtitles in MKV files.Does not seems to have option to change settings of filter, or boost up my volume.I don't think it even supports Keys.It can't even take a snapshot of the video.

Hopefully they get rid of all the DRM s**t. I'm sticking to WinAmp.

Good point! This is especially helpful if you're trying to make a mix cd and need to know if you're under the 80 minutes. (And for so many other other reasons.) It was definitely a dumb move to take that feature out. It could be easily brought back.

WMP12 is f**king terrible. You can't collapse the player, wmp toolbar is gone, and it has become a bloated mess, unsure of whether it want to be itunes or media winamp.f**k Microsoft on this one. I want wmp11 back. It even looked nicer. Apparently they've decided to (I s**t you not) get rid of its aero integration, making it look like a third party app.
