kilianvalkhof.com — Microsoft's "Windows Internet Explorer 8: Get the facts" is a carbon copy of the infamous "get the facts" propaganda against Linux, lies and all. Someone decided to set the record straight. My favorite: "Internet Explorer 8 is more compatible with the early 90s than any other browser."

@kspanks04,Chrome doesn't have extensions (at least not 3rd party, if any) but their check wasn't for add-ons or plugins, it was about developing tools, and Chrome has decent features for inspecting pages, etc. And I assume this is what that point was about, because "InternetBug" was mentioned which of course is a wordplay on FireBug, which inspects pages.@vafada,Chrome v2 came out a while ago. You're a bit late ;)

Shinfo, I can't say... but I got a real LOL out of it, and it's the first time I haven't buried pedobear.p.s. Let's be honest here. If you have a new Microsoft Windows computer, there is no single easier tool to download a real browser

I know people bring up website compatibilty with Opera, but there hasn't been a single page I haven't been able to view with it.It doesn't "break" anything in the process, and I've found the interface is to be easier and more attractive than FF's.

They aren't finalized, so what. The other browsers are adopting the standards so MSFT should follow suit. They could have at least tried to pass the ACID3 test.

JoeHague: black hat/ white hat. My techniques don't involve breaking legs.DarkShroud: that's sort of the point. IE holds the completion of standards back. Further, unless an old site was coded towards IE only (ignoring standards), modern browsers will render it fine. HTML 1 was a standard.
