I don't really have any sympathy for the "just doing my job" argument. How about using a bit of personal responsibility for a change? This one guy _does_ represent Microsoft and he _does_ represent the WGA system; you can't get clearer than signing off with "@ Microsoft. Program Manager, WGA"

Having their s**t together and shipping high quality software are not the same thing. Microsoft doesn't sell good software, they just sell software. And they do it very, very well.
