tgdaily.com — First, it was the unveiling of the concept that individuals utilizing Windows 7 would have the ability to turn Internet Explorer either on or off, however now other features included in Microsoft's OS are being revealed -- each of which will be able to be turned on or off under user control.

I'm sorry but how the f**k do you miss the meaning of "You don't applaud people for non-f**kups."? Good hell some people are dense.

I agree to MarkusX I really don't think that Windows 7 would release that early... Windows Vista was basically just realeased not to long ago... It might not be the greatest OS but I enjoy quite a bit of the new features added to it!

I would, but I finally got suckered into getting an iPod Touch recently. I know there's other software I could use, but I'm sure it's nowhere near as seamless as iTunes when it comes down to it, unfortunately. The podcast support is particularly good.

I agree with digitalpencil. While it's nice to be able to "remove" IE, it's not really addressing the fundamental flaws with IE in the first place. They should either fix the problems with IE or toss it out the window entirely. You can't really sell an OS without a web browser to go with it, but taking a cue from Linux, I see no reason why MS couldn't bundle in a flavor of mozilla or firefox with Win 7. Other than having to eat a lot of crow in doing so.I just don't see the advantage of distributing a broken component and offering the ability to disable it and somehow that makes up the difference. So, basically, IE for Win7 is just going to be so you can download Firefox after installation and then be removed? I guess so.
