With RHEL, a server won't be crippled if you don't register it -- you just can't automatically update it. RHEL5 loses some Red Hat proprietary software functionality if you don't enter a registration number when you install it.Use CentOS if you want RHEL software without the cost of a support contract.
I'm not surprised, honestly... because Windows 7 is actually something that people care about. In other words, the more you want something, to more you dedicate yourself into cracking it.They were mentally ready for it a long time ago. :P
Too many cheap bastards on the Internet. If you are going to use Win7 at least pay for it. If you want a free OS, there are plenty of free choices out there.
That's what XP mode is, an entire Windows XP environment with a desktop and everything. You can just launch the programs individually from the Windows 7 start menu and it runs the programs with XP invisible in the background, or you can open up the actual XP virtual machine and open the program there.
