gizmodo.com — Visiting Microsoft's Media Center posse in Redmond, I just caught a glimpse of the Windows 7 Media Center interface with integrated touch control (no third-party software) on an HP TouchSmart. The only thing missing here is multitouch, but I'm told that's coming.

Maybe it's because he was using his fingernail...If you listen at 0:12, you can even hear the flick on the screen.

For some reason, Windows 7 got a lot of positive mentions on Digg.People seem to love that new taskbar, and merely suggesting that they should let the old one in there as well will get your post buried.

keyboard shortcuts were there to make things faster by not using the mouse... I feel touchscreen is a step in a backwards direction. Perhaps the rollerball will make a comeback?

and what?does this serve any practical purpose? ....no?What is the point of this? and even if we all had touch screens, what benefits could this offer us? absolutely jack s**t!! (im sure there are 1 or 2 highly obscure use's for this, but talking, every day, ACTUAL things that this would improve!)unfortunately there will be enough for the lemmings to buy and even defend Vista, sorry Windows 7, to the end, which i think will be about, say january 2010? if it even manages that!!I could be wrong, and this might not be a big pile of s**t like vista, but then the same people keep telling me vista's faster than XP, and ITS NOT, so i'll wait and see, should get my copy soon enough so I can try it, be proved right again and then put it next to my copy of vista ultimate 64 to gather dust!! (i get them free, im a tech. i ment to learn how to use it, LOL, only thing i know about troubleshooting vista is, format and install XP, but then what more do you need!!? (also it realy is the only question iv had on vista anyway!! "where do i get XP?")

Isn't this what sideshow is for? I'm waiting for the 7" touchscreens to come in under $200. Thinking that's just around the corner, I believe I've seen announcements for a few in Europe, Asia.
