hydrogenaudio.org — In the changelog of WinZip's latest beta, there is "a special algorithm that will compress wav files smaller than ever." They forgot to mention the code is stolen from a program called WavPack. Worse yet, WavPack is released under a BSD license, all WinZip has to do is credit the author - something they haven't found time for yet.

With such an unrestrictive license, it's hard to justify not finding the time to add a line or two to the copyright info.

Nobody should use WinZip, Windows XP and Vista can compress files without the use of WinZip.
