reviews.cnet.com — [Red Steel] definitely proves that FPS games can work well on a console; the Wiimote-nunchuck configuration is the first console control scheme I've seen that comes anywhere near the control of a keyboard and mouse...Guns are aimed and swords are swung with the Wiimote, and even actions such as opening doors require a gentle shake of the nunchuck.

Strange, I thought the same thing. All of the Spore news must have clouded our judgment. But, I mean, who is Will? (I know now, but make it more clear in future headlines please)

I dont think its the argument of which is better to aim with, but which on is more fun to play with.Imagine having a sword fight with another person online... with the wii remote... how cool would that be. come on!

Honestly, this whole user censorship thing's a bit awry. There's a difference between filtering smut and censoring opinions you disagree with.

Are they really calling the controller a "Wiimote"? God, I hope not!

Miyamoto called it the Wii Remote in an interview - Wiimote's just a coined term to my knowledge.

Water Dragon, you've made the same comment in at least FOUR stories involving the Wii... in fact, you appear to be copying and pasting the same lame comment over and over again. If you want to make a constructive comment about why you disagree about something in the story, then by all means do so... otherwise, don't bother reading these stories, let alone fouling up the comment section.

this shouldn't be insanely modded down, except for the juvenile "no digg" remark. It's factual. An IGN editor did report this in his impressions.

An online sword battle is one of those things you never think of, but once you hear it you must do it. You and me buddy at dawn :-) I hope they also make a cool way to pitch in baseball games it would be fun to try striking someone out online and I don't even like baseball.
