Not at all. The electric interference will even have no effect on the data pushing trough the optic fiber.

Especially graphic cards with pci express replaced with an optical link instead.Imagine plugging in a graphics card just like a dvd drive into the 5.25 inch bay. Connect the power and plug in the optical link. You can add as many graphic cards you need without completely taking over the motherboard.
