"MS Word is the worst application I use on my Mac and I had to pay for it."obviously you pay for the software on your mac also. its just included up front in the retail price.
One final point:He IS writing a tech article. The article wasn't on a blog, is was on a Legal Technology News site. And before you try it, no, that's not an opinion either, so it's not magically right or above reproach. You made a factual mistake because you didn't take the time to know what you're talking about before hand, just like he did.
well that makes it different, Others here were saying it was a blog. If it was a tech article, then yes he is incorrect, if it was a blog, then it was his opinion and he is entitled to be incorrect.
Face it. PC users are going to look at Macs the same way Mac users look at PCs; it's only natural. However, when the world has been using PCs for the past 2 decades or so, people tend to lose all sense of reality. It's like crack - if you smoke it for too long, your world begins to revolve around it.It's funny though, these 'PC Guys' blast the Mac (usually with some unbalanced, underfooted claims), then the so-called 'Mac-Fan-Boy' blasts back (making sure not to make the same mistakes as the PC Guy), and then the PC Guy gets defensive and calls him a 'Mac-Fan-Boy'; rinse, and repeat.I wouldn't be surprised if Larry Bodine is a paid agent of Apple's competitors. The era of the PC is overwith. Even the Mac will meet it's demise one day. In the meantime, lets fan the flames of war.
Opinion? Saying Safari doesn't run Flash is not an opinion. Saying you have to buy .mac to use Mail and iCal is NOT an opinion. It's an incorrect statement represented as fact. Anyone who regularly uses a Mac would know that Mr. Bodine's piece was full of serious inaccuracies.
@eldar - "Do you know an SOHC4 is WITHOUT doing a google search or asking someone? I bet you dont."I sure don't...but if I was going to write an article about SOHC4, I'd be damn sure to do a Google search or some type of research about it so I wouldn't sound like an ass. Mr. Bodine chose to write an article with several inaccuracies that could have been corrected with a simple Google search.

Glamorous? I don't know about that, but he's rich, he has a lot of friends, and he's smarter than 99% of the population. -jcr
