While the logo uses use ku, or plausibly wa, followed by the small i symbol, in actuality, the "wi" sound is approximated by putting a u symbol next to a small i symbol.

While I'm not an expert on the Japanese language, I'd like to know why the glyph to the immediate right of the Japanese in question is a pIqaD (Klingon written language) "r."

I think the spelling ウィキペディア is also inaccurate. ウィキピディア is more accurate.
