blog.mlive.com — Back in the olden days, an affianced couple would go to the department store and register for fine china, a proper silver pattern and Waterford crystal. Today they're registering for Nintendo Wii, Wiimotes and Nunchuks.

I tried to do that when I got married last year. I scanned it in when my wife wasn't looking...along with a big screen TV and a giant Forman Grill.Ahh...the benefit of being the groom while registering: your future wife always makes you hold the scanner.

Did you get one?

I just asked my female friend to guess what topped the list and she guessed right lol... and then asked me if I will be getting it for her wedding. I said if its on the list I probably will. So now shes going to tell her fiance to see how fast he goes to register for it. It really would make a perfect wedding gift now that I think about it... And honestly since I'm the best man getting that would probably save me alot of money compared to the gift I would normally give (actually no... no I would probably just get extra controllers and games to equal to that amount.. but still)
