Why does everyone continue to blame Nintendo for poor looking 3rd party games? Look at Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, and Metroid Prime 3. These games are the closest that anyone has come to pushing the hardware to its limits. Nintendo has said time and time again that they aren't interested in power, but the interactivity of the thing. And in any case, if all that people really want is power, why the hell aren't they buying PC games?

Working for EA means nothing. They released the atrocity that is Tiger Woods on the Wii. I swear it must have taken them a whole week to make that game.

The Wii proves that graphics aren't everything. I bought a Wii yesterday and while the graphics are not as good as PS3 or Xbox 360, the gameplay is sure a hell of a lot better.

I think we focus on the controller too much as the "innovation" that Nintendo is touting. However, I think it is the price point that has made the Wii the big seller. Did Nintendo set out to make something revolutionary or did they set out to make something for less than $300? I think if they were merely looking to be innovative, they could have included tons of innovative features along with the Wiimote, however the price would have gone well over $300. They created the Wiimote to balance out the fact that the machine wasn't going to be as powerful. So I think the lesson here is to keep the cost of your console down, and not necessarily to come up with innovative features.

Wii is 2.5 more powerfull than the original Xbox. Don't forget that Xbox use a Intel Celeron at 733MHz with a graphic Nvidia chip but Wii despiste of have a 729MHz cpu, this cpu it's a IBM PowerPC RISC processor, more powerful than the Xbox cpu and the graphics have a performance between 1.5 to 2 times superior than the Xbox graphics. This is what the experts say.
