@wildleafTo be fair, every console I can think of has had at least one controller pcked in, so I don't really think the 40$ for a wiimote could be considered a bonus. But otherwise I agree with you completely; the inclusion of the 50$ game, 20$ nunchuck, and the price advantage over Xbox360 and PS3 make the price for a Wii attractive and more than reasonable.
Wouldn't surprise me if there's some fun workout games by this time next year. Maybe you would strap controllers to your arms and legs, and have to dance along to it or something. The good thing about this controller is it opens up so many possibilities. I think what we've seen so far is just scratching the surface of the innovation coming.

But holy s**t, now I'm even more impressed. I had shivers the whole time because it reminded me of the good ole gaming days.
What are you guys so excited about? Now that i have finally seen some video, I don't get it.Wii looks like a hype to me. I really can't see someone using the wacky remote after the first month. Like a toy you only use three times.Maybe I'm wrong though.I would suggest you try a Wii at a store or a friends before you buy it.

I'm pretty sure there was no Smash Bros. There was a video of Mario Strikers (where Mario falls out of the sky and looks mighty menacing...)
