gonintendo.com— A week ago I posted a comment about a letter sent to Nintendo about the plural of Wii. Here is the answer, straight from Nintendo - the official Wii plural is "Wii Systems". Article from gonintendo.com

Sorry for being lame guys... I got a good response in this thread:http://www.digg.com/gaming_news/25_000_Free_Wii_From_RetailerSo I thought you guys would like it. If I had known it'd be like this I wouldn't have bothered. The letter was more or less a joke in the first place, it got sent because 1, I hadn't sent a written letter to Nintendo since I was like, 10. And 2, it was a neat way to settle the argument between my friend and I.So again, sorry for posting something so lame, and if any of you enjoyed it, I'm glad you did.
Hey folks - I needed an official pluralization of "Wii" because my 8 yr old daughter is playing Scrabble and was desperate to use the word "Wiis" ("Wii" could not be used, because she had to use the "s" from another word). I suppose that if I were a purchasing manager at Best Buy or something that I could see needing to know the proper way to pluralize Wii.Thank you, XMorbius

I was hoping it was like 'fish' or something. One Wii, two Wii. Red Wii, blue Wii. My dreams! They are crushed!...or not.

Shouldn't the posting have been titled "25000 Free Wii Systems From Retailer"?
