cgi.ebay.com — Bet this burns the suits over at Sony....The Wii costs less than half of (the 60gb) PS3, launched with more than six times as many units, yet it is now in significantly more demand than their "next gen" system based on the free market on EBay.

"Just because your scared that another system might be doing better than the one you like doesn't mean you have to go into random forums and insult people who, I might add, are simply discussing the economics of the matter." Its funny. I think the fanboy comment arose because every little advancement or news regaurding the Wii and 360 has a spin on it that is heralding the death of the PS3. You talk about valuing peoples opinions and then you call the PS3 a $700 dollar a piece of crap with no games. 3 weeks it has been out and it is crap already? I though it was either 500 or 600 dollars as well. There is no problem with enjoying a 360 or a wii but the fanboy moniker comes with those who have nothing better to do than to spit on the PS3 with every news article about thier own respective consoles. Nice try at pretending to take a high road though.

I would keep any Wii's I purchased. I really don't see the need of having any system right away.

Wow, so PS3s purchased to be sold on ebay = not cool, but Wiis being sold on ebay = WOW, THAT'S COOL.Hello idiots, Wii came out more recently, so the ebay bubble has more chance of being there. Stop clutching at straws to 'prove' that your beloved piss system is the more popular and just go back to rounding up cattle in Zelda or similar mundane tasks.

i would rather pay 600.00 for a Wii then 250.00 for a PS3

I just watched the end of that auction, and the seller only made 125. That's peanut s**t. Since they're offering free overnight, to insure that and depending on where it's going, that could run them like 50-75 bucks for all that... so total profit is a staggering 50-75. You can make that mowing a lawn for some old desperate housewife in Florida.

Before I say this, I bought my Wii to play/own it, not to resell it. With that said, I got fairly bored of the console (this is my own personal issue, the console itself is awesome, there just aren't any games I really love for it) so I decided to sell it on ebay. Long story short, I put it on ebay last night starting at $1 at about 10:40pm EST for 1 day, and it ended up with a final bid of $445. It was more than I was expecting, and I'm very happy, but I can't help feeling like an ass for selling it at a profit (I guess the fact that I didn't set the price offers some consolation). This was without any extra games, and just the normal Wii retail package, slightly used but in like-new condition.
