nintendowiifanboy.com— Think Wii Fit should have been a smaller part of the Nintendo keynote at E3? You're not alone. But take a closer look -- there may be more to it than you think. With all new commentary!

They are expanding the market, not taking control of it. Your wife wasn't in the market until wiifit. I am seeing a lot of people that were already in the market, buy a wii and get turned off by it, myself included. I think a lot of older people are buying a wii so they can feel young again. "look i can play tennis with my kids, i'm hip and with it now wooo". Seriously the top selling wii games are crap: wiisports, wiiplay, and mp8, my gf has them all and i cant stand to play any of them anymore, especially mp8. I'm not saying that nintendo is failing as a company, i'm saying that nintendo is changing the way they present themselves, they make gimmicky crap for everyone now. I think most of the games have a certian new fresh feel to them but i drop them just as quickly as i pick them up.
Ok, I am getting DAMN TIRED of wii fanatics evangelizing the will. DONT TELL ME WHAT TO FREAKING CARE ABOUT! I have probably been gaming for longer that you anyhow. Call me old school, or non-progressive, but I want to blow s**t up, dammit! I hate it how Nintendo talks about innovation, yet their staple, money-making games are all extensions of NES IP's (with the exception of pokemon)! While the board thingy looks like it would have sweet possibilities for "board-sports" types of games, they are only possibilities right now. I am not really terribly interested in exercise mini-games.
Man, i haerd this and it's sounds like a great idea, granite, ill probably hope to see track & field on the vc and mario & sonic game hoped to be used with this, also with the zapper for duck hunt, and hopefully sarfai hunt for the sega master system hope hope! Then, i don't have to re buy them accessories & games/system again!
