I'm going to the Denver party on Friday, i'm TOTALLY hoping I get one of those keychains. And as for the poster above, this whole chain of parties is NOT a PR scam, the ambassador for my party is a guy I worked with as a waiter a few years ago, and we're both actual, genuine, Nintendo fans who are just waiting for a chance to get our hands on this new console.I'm going to ask them if I can bring in the SD card from my camera to play around with the photo channel *crosses fingers*. I'm also checking to see if I can bring in my Gmini 400 (20gig mp3 player with internal mircrophone) so I can get audio of the event.

For those interested, here are some of the images I took with my cell before they claimed them for the evening:image 1: A few of us waiting at the meeting spot for the vans to pick us uphttp://zogdog.com/images/Pix008.jpgimage 2: The vans rolled up, blacked out and all (ghetto cloak and dagger, but fun)http://zogdog.com/images/Pix010.jpgimage 3: Nintendo taking our cameras, those bastages!http://zogdog.com/images/Pix011.jpgThis is the best I could do for images, wish I had more to show, but it was quite enjoyable regardless.

Too much wiimote waving? Isn't that the point? Well, I'm not 'somewhat rich' and the Wii looks better value for money.

the button probably erases the stored data on the remote, so they were probably having them reset it before moving on so that the next person would start with a clean profile.

@ZogDog:Oh well. It's going to be a blast anyway, and hopefully I get my audio recorder in there, 'cause they didn't TECHNICALLY say anything about those.Did you guys have little passwords they gave you over the phone? Mine is (edit: I'm not that stupid :-p ). Don't know how I'm gonna make it through this week at work. So long until Friday.

Good point but most of the good PC news isn't on this site and I see little to no reason to submit a news item that's just going to get buried on the Wii hysteria anyway (at least on this site). Most other gaming news sites are less clogged with this crap.

@Rysolag who cares if you are rich?Even if i had the extra cash I wouldn't buy a PS3. Building a new computer is a better use of $600.00 in my opinion.
