wiicade.com — Many are aware that WiiCade.com and other competitors have offered up mouse-only games that can be played on the Wii. But now, a newly refined API allows developers to use any button on the WiiMote. A few great games including the popular hit Territory War have already been converted and are ready for play. Check it out!

You can't afford $10 for a fun game? Or even $5 for that matter?

> they've just included ALL the keycodes. What does that mean? Mario's code passed through any keycode it got. So I don't see what could possibly be missing.

> Really? I must have looked at an early version - it only passed through the d-pad.There's only one version. All keycodes get passed through, but some of the Wiimote keys are already mapped to Opera browser functions. When you press those keys, odd things can happen. (e.g. Zooming, favorites screen, no CSS layout, etc.) Even the DPad is not immune. If you turn the remote away from the screen and press the DPad, it will attempt to navigate the screen with a black border around objects.> So if his later release handled all the key codes what exactly does this from wiicade offer thats new??Supposedly, it can handle all the buttons without the default Opera events being triggered. It can also handle multiple keypresses, something that caused problems in Mario's code. (If you pressed another button, the first button would get "stuck".) According to the documentation, it also has some programmer niceties like handling of the remote's rotation and automatic mapping of keyboard keys to the Wiimote buttons.

This leads me to question if the announced Wii-edition of Line-Rider (line rider is a flash-based game in which you create lines that a sledder rides down) is going to do very well if you can just play it online from the Wii.
