They aren't competing for the same consumers. There is always going to be a need for the bleeding edge console. Plus, games like GTA and Halo are going to pump up the 360 for a long time to come. I think Sony just overshot the mark, is late to the game and is going to pay for the high price of the console.

Which is exactly why Nintendo should use a portable as the remote!Now the concept of using the remote as an Ipod-like device (IE something on your person at all times Or at least within reach) makes TOTAL sense.
