I just use the MAC address filtering. I used to just leave it open before I moved into an apartment complex. Not secure, I know, but I don't care. I monitored what people were doing, and I could care less if someone uses it as long as they don't download kiddie porn, try to hack someone's network other than mine, or download illegal MP3s.

WPA2 + https://www.grc.com/passwords.htm (for generating a random key) + a dash of AES = Highly secured wireless network.Thats my two cents

I understand how he cracked the WEP key, and I understand how one could capture packets, but how did he get screenshots of what this guy was doing? Did he hack his PC and install VNC Server or what?

Reminds me of a TV movie I watched about Spitfire pilots and one of them said to an American pilot, "we gave you a language, please use it". :-)In fact Google "we gave you a language" and you'll get a lot of similar results.

@desmond_314:Agreed so much eye-candy. And I don’t think they even know what their talking about.Firstly they bought the software, when if you ever crack WEP or WPA you'd always do it in linux. Firstly at 2:18 they’re in a MacOSX box. Then at 2:21 the man says, "We have access to his entire server". I’m sorry the guy probably does not even have a server; based on the face he’s using WEP and later on in the video looks like a n00b. 2:31 they said that they can see everything the homeowner is doing. That’s a lie unless the guy have VNC conveniently placed on his desktop, which I know he won’t have. At 2:36 look at the email, its very generic. "I have finally managed to secure a good location" no one ever types like that. At 2:37 he’s conveniently searching Google for "bank accounts" as you can see from the highlighted text. At 2:40 on amazon he is typing into the "email" box yet it appears as "*********"And at 2:44 we can see that he’s using his hacking software that he bought to look at the guys webpage. Because obviously Microsoft Word is a hacking tool.At 4:48 he’s using Word as a web browser now. The uses of it are endless. So from this you can see the whole thing is a fake. They said they can sniff all traffic, what about SSL and traffic through a SSH tunnel. And they said they can crack the password in minutes, when the quickest I’ve ever seen is 10.Hope you guys see this program is a fake. :)

There are a lot of reasons why i use WPA: nobody elce can acces my neetwork and use my bandwidth (yes, i have a bad connection already, so i don't need other leaches and the file that are on sharing could be compromising for some of their owners), nobody can launch attacks to and from my network without me knowing, and the list could go on. Let's just say i prefered being secure that surfing the internet from the end of my coverage area at a couple of kb more / second. https://cisco.hosted.jivesoftware.com/index.jspa?c ...
