That's a nice moderate stance : you disagree with me so you must just hate my religion. Just dropping the decision on the rightness or wrongness of a thing to state level doesn't solve anything. You would almost certainly have the northern states allowing it, and the southern states not -- how is this useful? It's only a murder in one state? Do you get charged if you out of state and then come back?
