I was thinking about content on demand and TV as well during this article. I know the 21% of America that doesn't probably doesn't know about streaming media via wi-fi, but there are a lot of people out there with Xbox360s and Apple TVs who might not care about losing TV during the switch. It'd be great if this became a catalyst that inspires a content-on-demand market to replace the current TV market. Better for bandwidth too.

You heard that on This American Life, right? IMO that episode was garbage. All of the interviewees were bad, except for the last guy.
