I was looking at the "bargains" available at the mac store. Apparently moving from 2gb of DDR2 6400 to 4gb adds $500 to the price. For normal PC's you can get the same at Newegg for $69, and there is a $29 rebate atop that I didn't factor in. So far as the "quality being better", apple uses the same hynix chips every other good supplier uses. The only difference is the the Mac has poorer thermal management, so uses larger heat dissipaters on what is otherwise the exact same s**t. But if you're OK with paying $900 for a $40 keyboard, a $15 mouse, a $200 motherboard, and a $40 burner, then don't let me (or good financial sense) stop you
"Sorry but Macs are a POS when it comes to maintaining updates and standards across the board, especially when using with PCs on a network" You're right. Tools like Apple Remote Desktop, NetRestore, and Radmind simply don't exist on the Mac. Oh wait. They do.
The last time legacy support was cut off was back when OS X came out in 2001. All OS X iterations have a pretty good track record with running older software.

Most arguments against Macs are based upon out of date information.

Some people consider criteria IN ADDITION to price. Otherwise, we'd all be driving Kia Rios.

You are an idiot. Keeping the XBOX OS proprietary to the XBOX hardware is not the right thing to do.
