I read a while ago that 2 women sent letters to their state representatives to remove a politician who revealed that he was gay. Of course, this was in a mid-western state. From this, I think the politician quit.Sent my letter to my 2 senators and 1 representative. Also, sent it to a local newspaper.Ah crap... I forgot to mention Digg in the letter. Can someone write another letter and mention the strong impeachment support on the web?
"No government official can be impeached on international law. It isn't applicable within the US"Treaties are "the laws of the land." The US is a signatory to the UN treaty, as well as many others, although in many instances they've only signed them with major (and scandalous) exemptions. So tell me, how is someone NOT in the government could possibly breach the United Nations treaty? Doesn't make any sense. Therefore it has to apply to gov't officials.
Reagan good? Apparently you have forgotten about the "trickle down effect", Iran Contra affair, Armageddon, "mommy" consulting the stars, and oh yes "I do not recall" (a bad actor too). He is the man mostly responsible for opening the door to the White House for the religious/evangelical/right wing nut jobs.
@rcinbigdIt doesn't matter what YOU think or believe. It doesn't matter how YOU want it to be. The way I stated it is the way it is, in the REAL WORLD.The Geneva Conventions only apply to the signatories of said conventions. If you can produce proof that Talibania or Alqaidaville signed the Geneva Conventions or abide by them (ooops!) then you might have a case. ANY combatants not affiliated with a government are ILLEGAL and are not afforded the same treatment as military POWs. These are not opinions, jackass, these are FACTS, whether you like it or not, or agree with them or not. Tough! That's just the way it is. And if you are tired of debating about it, then stop, you suck at it, especially if you have to resort to attacking me personally, instead of the argument. You suck at it and should go back to selling love-beads on the corner. Oh, and I am not a neo-con, nor a republican. Just like I didn't assume you were a democrat or left-wing nut-job until you made that statement. Crap you're a smug dumb-ass, aren't you?
