jedreport.com — While McCain is busy throwing stones at Obama, folks should remember this McCain decision to NOT visit the same troops but showed up "for the money".BTW--By "The McCain Standard" I guess we should give him credit for being a part of the marketing of the war that created the dead and wounded troops in the first place, right?

You couldn't be any more wrong if you tried. It was the military commanders that were afraid to confront LBJ and McNamara with their misgivings for their warplans for Vietnam. If you don't believe me, read the book Derelection of Duty by H R McMaster (you might have heard of him).

No, I am one of those people struggling to feed myself and watching the dollars that I bust my ass to earn get burned up by ever increasing food, fuel, and implementation costs. With little else left when all the bills that I have to pay have been appeased.Hooray for all the new homes, that doesn't help me in the least.

"McCain's was official business, and therefore taxpayer-funded. Obama's was political, and therefore campaign-funded. During the portion of Obama's trip that was official -- the portion in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait -- Barack Obama did visit wounded troops, and he did so with no fanfare".Exactly when did Barack Obama's fact finding mission become a campaign-funded ?event? Why is Obama campaigning in Europe? Seems a little odd, unless this is a staged photo op event, still?Did Obama know when he scheduled a visit to Ramstein and Landstuhl in Germany, that Germany was not part of the fact finding mission?.If he did know, then why did he a scheduled visit to Ramstein and Landstuhl knowing the same CODEL rules that he followed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Kuwait applied to Ramstein and Landstuhl?Gotta tell ya either Obama and his staff are incredibly stupid or they think Obama supporters are, which one are you?Oh the McCain trip, different country, a very poor try at damage control by Obama.

Obama didn't meet with wounded troops in Germany. He said he wanted to go -- without the media entourage -- with one adviser, much as he did on a lo-fi trip to Walter Reed hospital in Washington recently. But the military classified his adviser, an ex-military dude, as a campaign staffer and said this would be treated a campaign trip. This is a no-win for The O. If he goes, he's mocked for exploiting the troops. If he doesn't, he's ripped for being insensitive. The larger question for voters: Is it really an issue that Obama didn't meet with injured troops THIS TIME in Germany, even though he has met with them often and without cameras in other places? The real deal is, when you have nothing, make up crap about your opponent. And McCain's got nothing. A big nothing. Grumpy old senile fart, John McCain.

tcbishop12 “Obama didn't meet with wounded troops in Germany. He said he wanted to go -- without the media entourage”Actually it’s with out his CAMPAINE staff his normal regular Senate staff is not a problem, like he has DONE BEFORE. He could not bring in the press (SAME AS IT WAS LAST TIME) but the military would supply the photographer (SAME AS IT WAS LAST TIME) (SAME AS IT always been since the 1960’s)“with one adviser, much as he did on a lo-fi trip to Walter Reed hospital in Washington recently. But the military classified his adviser, an ex-military dude, as a campaign staffer and”Actually buckie it was the Obama CAMPAINE that ID’ed the “dude” as a CAMPAINE STAFF! Dudeeeeeeeee! That “dude” in the campaign, possibly Ret. Gen. Gration, pitched a fit because the regs wouldn’t let military advisors go with Obama to the hospital, whereupon Obama inexplicably decided he wouldn’t go either“said this would be treated a campaign trip”Yep SAME AS it has been at all the hospital visits! “This is a no-win for The O. If he goes, he's mocked for exploiting the troops. If he doesn't, he's ripped for being insensitive.”Yo Buckie, did he get mocked at all those “other visits” you mentioned?Nope, so you just proved your self wrong! . ”The larger question for voters: Is it really an issue that Obama didn't meet with injured troops THIS TIME in Germany, even though he has met with them often and without cameras in other places?”Let’s see he gave his word and scheduled the visit, knowing full well what the rules are (as you said he’s done these visits before)Okay so he broke his word and gave a BS excuse“question for voters: Is it really an issue”It will become one if this becomes a pattern like his promised FISA vote and all the others remove troop’s day 1 without any regard to conditions on the ground and such.If you really support Obama QUIT DIGGING HIS FRIGGING HOLE DEEPERIDIOT!
