nytimes.com— Not everyone is bi/curious. A lot more women are than men. It's because the brain is very different in the sexes -- and in different sexual orientations.

Q: What do you call a woman who is averse to men and children, and sexually attracted to other women?A: A heterosexual feminist.Q:What's the difference between a heterosexual feminist and a lesbian feminist?A: Which side of the closet door she's standing on.Q: How many heterosexual feminists does it take to screw in a lightbulb?A: Heterosexual feminists don't screw in light bulbs. They screw in the back rooms of establishments with names like "Wyld Roses" and "Sappho's Lair".Q: Levicticus prohibits "lying with a man as with a woman". Where is the prohibition against "lying with a woman as with a man?"A: There isn't any, nor in the Talmud either. Jewish law prohibits male homosexuality but not lesbianism. This is NOT an oversight, or an indication that female homosexuality is so rare as to have gone unnoticed; there are prohibitions against female bestiality which must certainly be much rarer than lesbianism.Common law also prohibited male homosexuality but not female. Lesbian women cavorted quite openly in England long before their male counterparts came out of the closet. The expression "Boston Marriage" (lesbian living arrangement) is quite old and refers to the ubiquitousness of lesbianism among the Puritains (not surprising). It is fairly common for men in the ruling classes to intentionally marry lesbian women. In many cultures there are stories praising lesbians for being trustworthy not to cheat on their husbands (not much fun tho). The Greek story of Atalanta has men risking their lives--and usually losing them--for a chance to marry a profoundly masculine lesbian who openly dislikes men. Jewish stories of Judith usually portray her as being transgendered, and yet she often appears in Jewish erotica as the ideal female. Most of the celebrity lesbians of history have been "married" to men, including Sappho, Virginia Wolf and her lover Vita Sackville-West, Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Agnes Moorehead, Debby Reynolds, and the rest of the 1950s Hollywood "knitting circles" (most of the big-name actresses of the 1950s were lesbian. Grace Kelly, Ava Gardner, and Betty Davis were notable exceptions). Jane Fonda, who seems to have trouble staying married to men, now admits that she has had lesbian relationships, but claims Roger Vadim "forced" her into it. But she had one high-profile relationship long after he was dead. There is a book about lesbians who marry men, entitled "Married women who love women". Notice that it's NOT titled "Married Lesbians". They prefer women over their husbands, and usually end up divorced (and the book is full of vindictive comments about the ex and often the kids too), but they're NOT lesbians.Women are LESS bisexual than men. Their hormone levels are lower. Women are referred to as "bisexual" because of a profound taboo in Western cultures against admitting that sexual vice occurs among women (it does), and because of the mistaken belief that women are essentially asexual (they aren't) and don't really care about the gender of their lovers (they do--watch the fur fly when a high-school girls' PE teacher makes a pass at the wrong girl...). Homosexual women are also assumed not to be lesbian because lesbian relationships tend to be short-lived. With lower hormone levels than men, they have less motivation to stay together when things turn "rocky". Hence the t-shirts that say "You don't know me; I'm in the witness protection program" given to lesbians as jokes after they break up. They are also much more likely to hide in the closet than their male counterparts, because their lower hormone levels mean that they don't feel the need to "advertise" as much. Michael Jackson is assumed to be a homosexual despite his "marriages", while Senator Patty Murray, who is as feminine as Mr. Jackson is masculine, and who is sexually jealous of men, is a "heterosexual feminist". She can openly surround herself with lesbian companions, cross-dress and sport an Ellen Degeneres hairdo, work the crowds on pride day, and hide in plain site. Patricia Ireland went to extremes to create an elaborate deception that she was a heterosexual, despite living and having a sexual relationship with a woman named Pat Silverthorn; Ireland's autobiography is essentially pure fiction. Almost no one (except me) will call her out on this.Drew Barrymore is "bisexual" despite the fact that Tom Greene divorced her because he couldn't compete with her female companions. Brad seems to be having trouble keeping Angelina but she's not lesbian she's "bi". Anne Hecht isn't lesbian anymore... We even have a word for it, but can't seem to find any...
"because most men don't know how to, or like to, eat pussy and women love to have their pussy licked."By this reasoning there should be WAY more gay/bi men than women. Most women are pretty much clueless at performing fellatio. And men sure as hell love to have their c**ks sucked. And their balls at the very least played with. And yet about 95% of women are completely oblivious to them.
Not sure about the reason. But it's the truth. I have ever browse the bisexual dating club Bimingle dotcom , when search partners, there are usually more bisexual woman than bisexual man.
There aren't more bisexual women than bisexual men, there are just more that admit to it. For women- not only do you have a certain number of bisexual ones but then you have straight ones that are pretending to be bi to turn guys on. For men- there is such a stigma against any sort of homosexuality that the actual bisexual ones pretend to be straight. Most guys that claim to be bi are actually flat-out gay.

Maybe because women are ACTUALLY attractive, while men are only attractive to those who have been conned into it by their biology.
