I don't understand why the views you and your fiance have make my position close minded? Sex is not wrong, it's perfectly fine, and human. Newsflash: Sex is not porn. Porn is watching other people do something that has been completely morphed away from its original form. It is a perversion in the very sense of the word - in addition to the sensational sense we give the word today.Why can't I start my defense with the objectification of women? I don't agree with the objectification of men either. But your tone does not suggest you are looking for open dialogue, so probably not productive to proceed further. I don't feel excessive Victorian influence on my views on sex any more than you would admit to Playboy influencing your views. I think we both feel our ideas have come from individual thought and conclusions.

From your response, I don't really get the sense that you want a response. Why don't you defend your views that porn is okay? So far I have read 1) you have sex therefore porn is okay, 2) you are an adult therefore porn is okay, and 3) old people say sex is bad, but they are old therefore porn is okay.Perhaps it would help if you distinguished between sex and pornography. Happy to talk.
