mashable.com — While WikiLeaks is relatively new to the public, it is actually a product of a long-established culture. That culture has already had a banner-bearer; a quintessential exemplification of its values: The Pirate Bay. WikiLeaks is akin to The Pirate Bay, but for another purpose.

I wouldn't compare wikileaks to a site that offers free content mostly for leisure and entertainment.

Why WikiLeaks is the traitor or the USA. I hope the owner gets a bullet to the back of the head soon.

The biggest problem I have with Wikileaks is that in response to questions about classified sources getting hurt, Assange's said something along the lines of "I know I'll have blood on my hands."
That means that when some poor schmuck and his family in Afghanistan get killed by the Taliban for being collaborators, Assange, sitting pretty in Australia, basically doesn't give a f**k about him.
It is extremely hypocritical to be so upset as Assange has been about the deaths of civilians in Afghanistan and then be so cavalier about those on our side getting murdered because of Wikileaks' work.
I would have a lot more respect for them if they spent the time to at least try to redact that information.
