@gregcottenI don't know whether to laugh or cry - when I read the propaganda in the Washington Times or any other mainstream newspapers (owned by the rich) - or your salious comments. While I am making light of Bush (instead of crying) - the facts are clear (as explained) Bush and The Boys are intent on totally controlling this planet from space - so that they can target anyone they wish to - launch a rocket - and murder anyone they wish.By the way, people are not needed to "explore" space. Everything can be done "robotically". The space vehicles with small robotics would be a fraction of the weight of what the USA uses now - and of course a fraction of the cost (bad news). People on board space vehicles - is just political show; but more important - the more something costs - the more the elite scam American taxpayers.
> Then I must be a profit. I argued till I was blue in the face over Iraq [...]you might want to be careful about declaring that... the last one got gunned down in Waco and in general, they don't have a very good track record for living lives that don't involve untimely deaths....at this point the American people are more willing to be lead by someone who "personally guided by god" with regard to his foreign policy than they are to understand the truth.
Colonizing the moon would make some businesses an assload of money.Unfortunately, the costs of actually getting to the moon are too high, and the will of the US is entirely too small and its program is underfunded. With that said, i'd love to go to the moon and live there instead of on this earth. It'd be one hell of an experience. If a University is established on the moon, i'd bet that it'd house only the most intelligent and/or richest young adults in our solar system.
As a huge fan of science (especially the astronomic branch), I'm excited over this. Us humans are a curious little species and finding out more about our universe is something we've wanted for... as long as we knew there was a universe. This isn't a political issue and I see little need to argue about it... well okay, it is a political issue because our government is making it that way. But by all means, the moon shouldn't be owned by anyone and living on the moon is possibly a bad idea. But I think this story is pretty cool. I love how coherent this is... I blame the caffeine, sorry. XD
