why all the bitching and whining? the internet has made a world where we are not subject to the music forced upon us by music companies. we have access to limitless indie music. why do we care what is popular or manufactured or what isnt? nothing, and i mean nothing, is restricting us from getting exactly the music we want.i think you people are just jealous that your loser bands dont make tons of money like the losers who are marketed by the music industry, because there is nothing to complain about from the perspective of a music consumer.
AutoTune is what's known as a "VST" plugin made by a company called Antares. VSTs are plugins that can be applied to audio trcks in every popular digitial audio workstation: Cakewalk Sonar, Steinberg Cubase, Apple Logic, etc. Roland makes another, less popular, auto-tune plugin called V-Vocal.

MusicGenius: FYI- many Renanisance painters used a "camera obsceura" to create their paintings. They traced the outlines and filled in the appropriate colors on an upside down projection of their subject.I think I'll buy this DVD though. I knew teeny-bopper pop was fake and contrived, but I didn't understand the magnitude!
I like the demonstrations. You know who has the talent? The managers, promoters, writers, audio engineers etc. who are behind the scenes. These people have INCREDIBLE talent. Especially since they can successfully take music sludge and turn it into platinum albums. I give them a lot of credit - but I give genuine artists with real music talent more.

This seemingly extensive catalog contains not just the latest and greatest, but also older tracks too - which lots of people (like me) are shopping for. I have had a tendency to lose CD's over the years, so this is a good way for me to reclaim (cheaply) the music I've already bought in the past.
