newstarget.com — America's disastrous health care system is heaving the country head-first into near-certain economic collapse. Just about everybody's either financially strained or going broke due to spiraling health care costs: the people, the employers, state governments and even the federal government. Multinational corporations are fleeing the United States du

Just read any book that Moore is not involved with, like "Critical Condition: How Health Care in America Became Big Business and Bad Medicine". THIS WILL TURN the critics of Moore around. If not, they are smoking too much crack. I look up Amazon and there area at least a DOZEN more books like it. Those I have not read (I did read the named one though) but I am getting 4 of them from my library.Wake up my fellow conservatives (as I am one of them). Get a heart and get a clue!!!

If all you have against the movie or the points he makes is ad hominem attacks then you are worthless.

First, turn down the rhetoric a bit, then perhaps show us some facts that prove this is the case. In the movie, patients didn't wait very long at all to see a doctor. I realize Moore could have picked an exceptionally good clinic to skew the perception. Nevertheless, that statement is made without proof over and over with impunity. Everyone just assumes its true. I'd like to see some hard data about average wait times in American vs Canadian/British/French waiting rooms. Until then, this is a nonsensical, invalid statement.Wait times? Are you serious? This is not a quality item to use as a comparison. So you have chest pain. Turns out you have cancer, but treatable. You wait an hour in an ER to see a doctor. Then you wait 6months until you get a diagnostic CT to figure out it's size. Now you need radiation therapy, but in the 4 months it took to see the Radiation Oncologist your tumor grew. Now you need surgery, but the wait for that is 6 months. My point is that who cares if you go to the clinic and are seen right away if every step of the way is another line? Just because you get fast, crappy care are you better off? . Ask our Canadian friends about that. s**t, ask people who have Kaiser Permanente insurance this. I've got to say one positive thing about the euro system, is if you smoke and you need surgeries such as knee or hip replacement, you have to quit before you get the surgery. Making people responsible for their health is the real way to effect change.I do agree that the Insurance industry is the problem. Doc's cant band together and stand up to them because it would be violating RICO statutes and they would be prosecuted as organized criminals. The insurers are so wealthy that you can't beat 'em. One politician stiffs 'em and they'll donate huge sums of money to get someone elected that won't. The insurance companies are not going away any time soon. Also, if those other countries are so great to their docs, how come American doctors are not leaving in droves to go work in those countries? It's just like immigration. Americans aren't risking life and limb to emigrate, but people from many countries outside the U.S. do.My umbrage with Moore's film and films in general is that he cries fire without offering a way to really put it out. Do you think Mr. Moore waits to see a doctor? Hell no, he's got cash. One call and he's in. That will always be his case. And at his age and weight, I can guarantee he has at least one chronic disease.

They don't have any problem with mine. Which, by the way, is what Rhode Island Hospital gives its employees.

What Nazi SS style propaganda cow poop is next from Michael Moore?

Michael Moore is nothing but a fat Nazi SS liar who warps reality to push his own lazy agenda! He can't be trusted to tell the truth at any given time.
