If you ever want to look like a complete idiot, talk to a kid who asks strings of questions. Once had one starting with "What are chicken nuggets made from?" (heh stupid kid) 20 minutes later ending in "How do magnets work?" (WTF!?) totally stumped. The kid just laughed and went to go eat his Mr.freeze pop not a worry in the world... I still sit for hours pondering/researching deeper into the question. Kid:1 | Me:0
Magnets are filled with millions of tiny Dwarves. The Dwarves are divided into two tribes, the Northalites and the Southuanians. They are inimical toward one another, but all great cowards, so they all try to flee to the ends of the magnets. Lily-livered though they may be, being Dwarves they are covetous of all ferrous metals, craving it for their armor and weapons. When metals come close to them, the Dwarves create suction by all inhaling at once, creating an attractive force between the ferrous object and the magnet. Duh!
