money.cnn.com— The social networking wunderkind may be cool. But enough already! How's it ever going to make money...especially in a recession?

Trolls are fun, so I'm going to feed this one.Not everyone stays in touch with their high school friends. Some of us go to college VERY far away from them and just don't talk much. After a while, you lose touch. Facebook is nice because you can easily find/get back in touch with those people and learn what they are doing with their lives and how things are going. You might even eventually start talking on a regular basis (on phone, e-mail, and facebook...you can even use facebook to send 'message' which is almost like e-mail).You act like everyone you went to high school with is still easy for you to contact. If so, good for you. You're in the minority. For most people, if they want to know what happened to someone they went to high school with (unless it's one of the 3 to 10 people they remained in contact with), issues occur because phone numbers and e-mail addresses CHANGE. Names don't (much, sometimes the women's last name change, but many include their maiden name so it's easier to find them). That's why facebook is great for contacting old friends.
Facebook has helped remind me why I quit putting effort into one sided high school friendships. Not worth the effort then, really not worth the effort now.
Actually websites like Facebook take a lot of free time, I would say it is just a waste of time! I hate Facebook for the reason it makes people virtual and it is not very good!

OK, so you don't like Facebook. Don't invest in Facebook and don't use Facebook. Easy, isn't it?
