Relevant ads is what makes Facebook work. People get their panties in a bunch about privacy, though.I, for one, would gladly link my Facebook account to my Hulu account so they could give me better ads.

Music quality is also at its lowest level in 20 years. Coincidence? I think not.

You can actually watch the first episode of The Pacific on their site. Not sure if they'll keep it up for the rest of the series though.<a class="user" href="http://www.hbo.com/the-pacific/index.html#/the-pacific/episodes/0/01-part-1/video/part-1-full-episode.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.hbo.com/the-pacific/index.html#/the-pac ...</a>

OK Cisco introduced a router that is really fast. What exactly has this todo with Hollywood?
piieerrrreeMar 18, 2010
RSterkenburg: I know that the router is for corporate backbones, not home-use (unless you're rich..).However, the entire article was just about downloading movies. That's all they talked about through its entirety and what that meant for internet piracy. Hence why I called it ridiculous, because not only are these not designed for personal use, but even if they were (as this article insinuated), it'd be f**king retarded for someone to torrent more than they can possibly watch.

@fugeesnfunions"From X to Y" is like the expression "Every actor from Angela Landsbury to Zach Efron" - we're not talking "to and from" as positional "to and from" but in terms of datasets. That is, every movie made _anywhere_, since Hollywood and Bollywood (Bombay) are two big movie-making locales. It's there way of saying "every movie ever made, and not just the Hollywood blockbusters you've heard of, could be streamed through this machine".Seriously, please tell me you guys are under 14, or that English is a second language.

It's just a faster router. Don't see how that's a "threat". If anything it makes it much easier to deliver legit content to paying customers. Nice linkbaiting, Time.

I believe that's the same philosophy behind DRM and ridiculous litigation from the RIAA/MPAA/etc. And then we sit here and lambaste them for those practices as well.
