steve wozniak is on the board of directors for axiotron - the guys that make the apple-endorsed 3rd party modification of the apple notebook computers, modbooks. They have introduced modbook pros and modbooks with both multitouch and 512 level pen wacom and it all is awesome. The problem is that the prices go from 2500US$ to over 5 grand and you need to pay for shipping, duty and tax if you're outside the US.This really is apple's answer to the tablet pc. They've repeatedly stated that there's not enough of a market for them to make a tablet but there's enough of a market for them to endorse 3rd parties to produce boutique modifications to existing hardware to accomodate the tablet-craving design market. That's apple's position and it won't change any time soon.
i think it will happen as apple has been making much much bigger strides as of late. though to be safe hell i'll go on a limb and say hell yeah it will happen.
