techradar.com — Did anyone at Microsoft think of pleasure when designing Vista's awful UAC? Did anyone at Virgin (well, NTL really) think of pleasure when designing the clunky interface of the V+ box compared to the elegant simplicity of Sky+? Did anyone at anywhere think about pleasure when designing old mobile phone interfaces?

The more you enjoy the interface, the more you'll stick with your work.Or are you the type who takes aspirin without water?

Apple does do enterprise; it's not their largest sector, but they do it and are perfectly capable of expanding. iPhone is becoming the most preferred phone in business, and Macs will surely follow. Just think: Apple's iTunes is the largest media content store on the internet (and in the US period for music) and their XServes and software handle it beautifully.

What does button 1 do? It clicks. What does button 2 do? It pops up a menu related to the object you've clicked on.What the heck was Apple thinking?

Mac has had it's fair share of interface flops. It's just glossed over and ignored. Remember the puck mouse, ROKR (Apple partnered with Moto on this one), and Apple Cyberdog?

hackable? why did you mention that? Are tech types not consumers then? BTW, my dishwasher does tell you the temp, and how much water is being used - so my dishwasher is apparently made for tech types O_o

No need to apologize. Apple does design the best UIs.

Apple TV and the crappy little remote is a major letdown on the usability and interface front. The iPhone remote application makes things drastically better, but even then you can't access the settings menu etc from it.
