Actually their laptops are quite comparable and often cheaper than a similar laptop from Dell. Just because Dell sells a $600 laptop, doesn't mean you should use that as the point of comparison. You have to look at Dell's $1400 laptops, etc., to make fair comparisons on things such as screen size, processor speed, ram, built-in webcam and mic, wireless N, battery life, and more.I agree that the Mac Pro (desktop computer) is 2x the price of a similar self-built system, hardware wise.
