lewrockwell.com — Let me ask you honestly, if a person develops a drug problem due to his own choices and subsequently gets stuck in some maximum-security hellhole how much "protection" have we afforded him? And we he returns to society, is anyone better off for it?

Both of my twin daughters were molested by a man already convincted of child molestation, who was given probation because the prisons were full of drug offenders. Had we listened to this gentleman years ago, my daughters would likely have been spared that abuse. -- Jeff Daiell

Thats a good point. I beginning to think it should be legal and have the same class as alcohol. Why ruin someone's life because they smoked pot? That does more harm to society than good. Leave prison for the people that are dangers to society so they won't hurt others.
