I agree that religion is a social issue. The belief system you embrace makes a huge difference in most peoples lives as to who is in their social circle. That said, I believe the social issues are the driving force in most peoples lives. Religion has a huge effect on society. Abortion has a huge effect on society. A person's ability to defend himself and others has a huge effect on society. I believe the social issues are what shapes this nation, and other issues are of secondary importance.
