thinkprogress.org — "People like Joe Stiglitz lack the courage to consider the cost of doing nothing and the cost of failure. One can’t even begin to put a price tag on the cost to this nation of the attacks of 9/11," said W.H. spokesman Tony Fratto, conceding that the costs of the war on terrorism are high while questioning the premise of Stiglitz's research.

To say the cake walk only concerned the invasion and not the whole mission seems disengenuous. The fact still remains we were led to believe it would be no big deal. It is a big deal and the strain on our economy is undeniable.

FTA: "One can ’t even begin to put a price tag on the cost to this nation of the attacks of 9/11," said W.H. spokesman Tony Fratto"WTF does 9-11 have to do with Iraq? Iraq didn't attack the USA. We invaded them.

Rumsfeld predicted that the war would last, and I quote, ``six days, six weeks. I doubt 6 months.''Your tired lies are falling apart, son.

True: "Cake walk" specifically referred to "invasion and liberation". But it should be obvious that everything including the reconstruction time and costs were lowballed.Cheney, almost four years ago: "Two days ahead of schedule, the world witnessed the arrival of a free and sovereign Iraq".So we're waiting for what, then?

Ah, the GOP is not only attacking the messenger but confusing Americans as well. One has to wonder just how did so many Americans actually came to believe that Iraq did 9/11, and it's through this type of info misdirection propagated by the likes of FOXNEWS.
